PROJECTS

From Capability to Action

Projects are the environments in which the ideas, knowledge, technologies, communities and capabilities of ECOSYSTEM VLG World encounter real-world situations.

A project can emerge from a programme, an Ecosystem Branch, a need identified in the field, research, technology or collaboration.

Some projects are local. Others are international. Some are experimental, while others may evolve into sustainable operational initiatives.

A project can also mobilise several branches and programmes simultaneously.

Need → Project → Capabilities → Experimentation → Outcome → Learning → Evolution

Experimenting in the Real World

A project is not simply a means of producing a solution.

It can test a hypothesis, develop a capability, experiment with a technology, create a collaboration, address a need, generate knowledge or reveal new challenges.

Experience gained through projects can then inform other projects, transform a programme, contribute to research or change the ecosystem itself.

Connected Projects

Projects can mobilise different parts of the ecosystem according to the capabilities required.

They can also involve partners, communities, institutions, researchers, companies or territorial actors outside ECOSYSTEM VLG World.

This architecture enables collaborations adapted to each situation without imposing the same structure on every project.

An Ecosystem That Learns Through Action

Every project is also a source of learning.

Results, challenges, new questions and capabilities developed through projects can return to the ecosystem and contribute to its evolution.

ECOSYSTEM VLG World therefore incubates projects while being continuously transformed by the experiences it enables.
