Ecosystem Branches are the operational and evolving components of ECOSYSTEM VLG World.
They bring together people, skills, resources, technologies and projects around specific areas of action or missions.
A branch can generate projects, develop capabilities, experiment with solutions, create collaborations and interact with other branches when several capabilities are required.
Branches are not necessarily isolated or vertical structures.
They belong to the same ecosystem and may share capabilities while retaining their own missions, responsibilities, identities and scopes of action.
An Evolving Architecture
Because ECOSYSTEM VLG World is itself a living system under continuous incubation, its branches can evolve alongside needs and projects.
New structures can emerge when new capabilities become necessary.
Existing structures can evolve, specialise, cooperate or transform as their functions change.
Structure adapts to mission; mission is not confined by structure.
Cooperation Across Branches
A project may require several types of capabilities.
One branch can therefore cooperate with another without losing its autonomy or automatically transferring its responsibilities.

Not to Be Confused with Research Branches
Ecosystem Branches primarily organise action, projects and capabilities within ECOSYSTEM VLG World.
Research Branches organise the scientific fields of the Science of Capability Architectures (SCA) within VLG.world.
The two architectures can interact, but they serve different functions.
