Innovation as a driver of transformation
ECOSYSTEM VLG World’s hackathons are collective innovation events designed to address tangible challenges in the humanitarian, technological, ecological, and educational fields. They activate the collective intelligence of local communities, technical partners, and young talents.
Three Main Categories
- Humanitarian hackathons: healthcare, crisis logistics, community rebuilding
- Sustainable hackathons: regenerative agriculture, short supply chains, water economy, recycling
- Technological hackathons: vortex, cybersecurity, governance AI, drones, educational games
Outcomes and Recognition
- Presentation of developed prototypes and solutions
- Connection to labels, partners, and incubators (CUB, HIVE, TRUST…)
- Awarding of badges, certificates, grants, or field deployment
Calendar and Participation
- Calls for participation announced on the homepage and newsletter
- Open to: young creators, NGOs, technical schools, engineers, artists
- Sessions held locally or online, sometimes in hybrid format (e.g., Minecraft + real-world fieldwork)
Each hackathon is a tangible entry point into the ecosystem. They are not competitions, but springboards for future alliances.
